Ann-Sofie focuses mainly on liability law in the field of pre-contractual, contractual and tort liability in many sectors and for professionals, damage claims and court expert examinations, contract law, construction law and soil legislation. She primarily works within the framework of litigation and consultancy. She is experienced in proceedings as to the merits of a case, interim relief measures, and seizure procedures.
She has been Senior Counsel at Eubelius since 2000 and member of the Brussels Bar since 1990.
Ann-Sofie obtained a law degree from KU Leuven in 1990. She also holds a special Master's in Insurance Law (University of Leuven, 1996).
Between 1990 and 1993 she taught judicial law as an assistant.
She successfully completed special training in cassation procedures for civil cases (2011-2015) as well as special training in cassation procedures for criminal cases in 2016. She is experienced in cassation cases.
Ann-Sofie is the author of and has co-authored various articles and regularly contributes to specialist publications. She also gives seminars and webinars on various topics. She also closely monitors developments on class actions.
She handles cases in Dutch, in French and in English. She also has a basic knowledge of German.
