Jeroen's practice focuses on company law and public economic law, including the law of regulated sectors. He has developed particular expertise in the law of State-owned enterprises and other public economic entities.

He joined the Brussels Bar and Eubelius in 2000 and has been a partner at the firm since 2013. From 2005 until 2009, Jeroen worked on this Ph.D. thesis at the University of Brussels (VUB).

Jeroen holds a law degree from the University of Brussels (VUB, 1999) and an LL.M. from the University of Chicago (2000). He obtained a Ph.D. in law with a thesis on organ theory in company law (VUB, 2010).

Jeroen is a professor at the University of Brussels (VUB), where he teaches courses in company law and business law. He serves on the editorial board of Tijdschrift voor Privaatrecht, a premier Belgian law journal.

Jeroen regularly authors academic publications and speaks at legal conferences and seminars. He has been the recipient of academic prizes, including the Prix Pierre Coppens.
