Michiel focuses primarily on national and international mergers and acquisitions (public and private), capital markets, foundations and non-profit organizations, corporate governance and general corporate and commercial matters.
He started at the Brussels Bar in 2014 and switched to the Bar of West Flanders in 2018, joining Eubelius the same year. In 2024, he was promoted to Counsel.

Before coming to Eubelius, Michiel spent more than four years in the corporate and M&A department of an international law firm in Brussels.
Michiel obtained his law degree from the Universiteit Gent in 2013 and subsequently obtained an additional master's in corporate law at the KU Leuven (2014).
He handles cases in Dutch, in English and in French.
