Job description

As a Junior Attorney Public law, you will, amongst others:

• Providing clients with legal advice on all issues of constitutional, public and administrative law, with a focus on constitutional law and general issues of public and administrative law. The possibility to also handle cases in environmental law or government contracts is, as such, not a primary focus but can be discussed if the candidate would express a strong preference for one of these areas of the law.
• Handle litigating disputes before Belgian and European courts, including the Constitutional Court and the Council Of State;
• Assist and advise clients (both public-sector and private-sector)
• Integrate in a high profile/first tier public law team with acknowledged specialists in most areas.

Working closely together with other teams will allow you to handle all legal aspects in this area of the law – on any scale.

Profile

• You have a Belgian law degree with strong academic records;
• You are passionate about public law, public contracts or public procurement and eager to take your knowledge to the next level;
• You are fluent in French. Preferably Dutch and/or English are a working language;
• You are a good communicator and a real team player;
• You have 0-3 years of relevant working experience;
